2004.12.30 The Princess of Genovia Takes on the New Queen

Anne HathawayThe British have cometh ... and so goes Jessica Biel's 2-time winning streak. Keira Knightley now sits on the throne as the new reigning queen with commanding win of 78.9% to Jessica's 21.1%, out of a total of 393 votes.

Our new challenger is a princess, a princess of a country reknowned for their export of pears. That is correct, Genovia.

Soon to be Queen of Genovia, we shall now see if the Princess of Genovia, Anne Hathaway can take on the new reigning queen; Princess vs. Queen, what a match-up.

If you have other actresses for future bouts, please post your suggestions for consideration.

2004.12.22 Jessica Biel Still Champion

Well, the votes have been tallied and Jessica Biel has managed to stay champion for a 2-win streak. Out of a total of 267 votes, Jessica pulled away with a total of 207 votes (77.9%) versus Kate Bosworth with the remaining 59 votes (22.1%).

Keira KnightleyIn our next bout, current champion Jessica Biel will do battle with Keira Knightley (from Bend It Like Beckham, Love Actually and King Arthur). Will this British hottie with that sexy english-accent be able to topple the reigning 'queen' or will the champion slap this Brit back across the Atlantic Ocean? Some might say that the viewers here have a thing for brunettes, well now you have two brunettes (both of which have been known to go blond in hair color). So, you decide...

Cast your votes now... operators are waiting to hear what you think.

Do you have any suggestions for future bouts?

2004.12.16 Purely Satirical on G4 Media Practices

This is purely a satire directed at some media network (not saying which network).

Coming Soon in 2005

I'm probably biting the hand that provides me with the content for this website.

Update: some of you are getting confused, this is NOT real and this "ad" was based on the same ad that was released by FireFox on the New York Times. I thought it would be funny to do up relating to the hearsays and stuff about MSTechTV. The ad above IS NOT real and is a MOCK UP of what FireFox had published.

2004.12.14 What's With the Hair Style?

Okay, this hair style of hers just doesn't sit well with me, but it's something I can eventually live with. Anyways, having played Ace Combat 4, I love the 'replay' video after each mission. They look so 'realistic' and based on the video clips provided by X-Play, they look just as great.

I'm currently taking a course in Computer Publishing using Flash and Alien Hominid is something I could see myself doing ... say in 5-10 months. *laugh* Yeah, right.

Alien Hominid PS2, GCN & XBox 4 out of 5 stars

2004.12.13 A Look Back to 2004

Since much of this episode dealt with past shows, there isn't much to update in this entry other than:

Four burglars in Texas were frightened when they heard the police. Apparently, the children in the house where playing Grand Theft Auto and in the game, the police were saying things like, "Stop, we have you surrounded. This is the police." This was apparently enough to confuse these burglars into thinking that the police were just outside waiting to capture them. They fled the scene but where later apprehended by Galveston Police.

D'OH!

In other news, Jessica Biel beats champion, Kristen Kreuk by 30 votes (Biel: 120 vs Kreuk: 90). Jessica Biel will now face off with Kate Bosworth (Blue Crush, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton).

2004.12.06 Leisure Suit Larry and the Lizard Lounge

I have to admit, I remember playing one of the Leisure Suit Larry games when it was only available in CGA (Color Graphics Adater) Mode, we're talking about a whopping 16 colors. Yes, 16 colors, not 16.2 million, but 16 colors. It was a fun game, a bit risque for it's day and age but it was fun. Now, there's Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude (*laugh*, what a title). Will I get it? I doubt it, since I'm still playing GTA:SA with only 56% completed.

All the good ole days when 640KB was all you ever need and a 20MB HD could store all your games, word process and OS.

Comment back and tell me if you would buy the title, Leisure Suit Larry?

Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude PC 2 out of 5 stars
Get on Da Mic! PS2 2 out of 5 stars

2004.12.03 IHMW Interviews Becky Worley

Staff writers at I <3 Morgan Webb Fansite interviews former TechTV TechLive's Computer Security Analyst, Becky Worley, on her views of the recent changes at G4.

In May 2004, hordes of cybergeeks were cut to the very core to find favorite TechTV shows such as TechLive and Fresh Gear out of production, after the station was purchased by G4 Media earlier in the year. TechLive was cancelled outright, and although Fresh Gear is still aired, no new episodes have been produced since TechTV was purchased.

We were able to catch up with TechLive's computer security analyst, Becky Worley, who's currently finishing up her Master's degree in Education and Computer Science at Stanford. We felt we needed to ask her a few important questions.

2004.12.01 Half-Life 2 is OUT!

Adam Sessler with a haiku? Yes, you heard it here, Adam Sessler had a haiku about the original Half-Life.

Scientists are good
Things from outer space are bad
So is the ending

Of course, when Adam used to host for the show on Gamespot TV, he used to do lots of haikus (videogamer02)

Now, Robotech: Invasion is based off the Robotech Masters series (US title) and while it's good to see Robotech Masters again, the game really looks lacking.

What is the worse anime-to-game have you played?
