Cable veteran and G4techTV chief operating officer Debra Green has exited the network, officials confirmed Tuesday.
Green reportedly left her post in the aftermath of a reorganization at the video-gaming channel, which is owned by Comcast Corp., a few weeks ago, according to one source. A G4techTV spokeswoman referred questions about Green's departure to Comcast's public-relations department. Callers to Green's phone number at work were referred to Alan Duke, who is in G4techTV's legal department. Those interested in reaching Green herself were told, "Please call her direct." Green, a longtime veteran of E! Entertainment Television and Rainbow Media Holdings Inc., had been with G4 since before its launch in the spring of 2002. G4 -- the first wholly owned national network developed and rolled out by Comcast -- acquired TechTV from Vulcan Inc. for $300 million in May and merged it with G4's operations, forming G4techTV. Charles Hirschhorn, who developed the idea for G4 and is now the network's CEO, couldn't be reached for comment Tuesday. |

Perhaps she knows of G4techTV's imminent future. God, I hope that the MSTechTV thing really will happen in January.

And I hope Chuck, jumps ship really soon! He doesn't know how to run a network! :( Seriously, this network is going downhill fast, and it's all because Chuck is bad at being in charge of this network! Tsk...tsk... :( |
