G4webbtv, too much of a good thing?

I like Morgan Webb, but it seems G4TechTV is trying to turn itself into the Morgan Webb Channel; in the process killing the Tech shows like Screen Savers and Unscrewed. I think there's a concerted push to make the network a sort of Gamer's MTV and I think their banking on riding their newfound sex symbol in that direction (just look at the amount of XPlay commercials compared to other shows on the network). Do you think the station is moving too far toward the mainstream or do you like the direction? Thoughts?

Despite my fondness for Morgan Webb -- I never liked the format to which TSS had taken. Too much energy, and not the good type of energy -- they really need some OLD dude to help keep the others on the ground.

I'd personally like to see Morgan become more famous, although it does seem a bit weird that G4TechTV is killing off all the other TechTV shows just so they could have X-Play and Morgan...

yah i pretty much hate that.

yah i agree to wiith that the only reason xplay is still on techtv is because of M Webb...which is complete nonsense (yeah shes hot...but that is no reason for a network to revolve itself around its old self and her). What i mean is taht G4 is pretty much staying the same (stupid). I don't want videogames pumped into my brain 24/7 and i love vgs...ALOT its just like a 24/7 news channel it doesnt work. So basicly its G4 taking Techtv channel away. This is all in my oppinon.

What good shows are there left on Tech Tv...i mean everyone loves taht BRITISH ROBOT SHOW...(BLEH)

well 24 new's channle'S do work and i like 24 hour's a day gameing but i don't want morgan to be famous aww!!!

i agree. they need to add more varieties to the channel. it's getting too boring now. i don't wanna hear about games all the time. sometimes i'd like to hear about the new softwares available...etc.

btw, for those who didn't know about this, Foxtel Australia will cease broadcasting of TechTV as of 1/1/05. yeah, we won't be able to see morgan on tv anymore next year. poor us from down-under. :(

not really :/ althought it was getting less and less to gaming since the start. Btw.. why are they keep abusing Adam Sessler, i heard he was suppose to get fired since the merge of g4 and techtv, but morgan told the company executives to keep him. I feel bad for him.

ps. TSS from before was too straight forward wayyyyy too nerdy. Todays TSS is more fun to watch. They have fun challenges and stuff like that. I understand if this reply makes no sense.
