2004.04.29 42GB for April 2004 !?!?!
I took at my weblogs just before the monthly rotation and to my surprise, the amount of data transferred from web visits has almost quadrupled from March 2004.
Take a look at this browser capture:
Yup, that's 42,993,473,000 bytes or 42.993 Gigabytes.
Since I've transferred to this new dedicated server in February 2004, the amount of traffic that this sees has increased dramatically. I might even run the risk of exceeding my monthly allotted transfers. *throws hand on forehead* What shall ever do?
SMALL NOTE: Morgan Webb will be appearing on Call For Help to help recommend video games for Cat's new gaming PC.

Now, I've only played the DEMO version of Unreal Tournament 2004 and I love it. It's all the elements that you'll find with Halo 2 but the difference is that UT2K4 is available NOW. *smile*

2004.04.27 The Force is with Morgan Webb
I'm a fan of CSI and because I didn't watch it from the start, I've not been watching the current season while I catch up with watching the DVD releases of past episodes. I'm currently watching Season 3 (Disc 1, 2, and 3). Though I thoroughly enjoy watching the show and the investigations pique my interests, I don't think I will enjoy playing the game.

Gah, my broadband connection cut out on me and I couldn't get this site updated when I wanted to... so I sat down a played about an hour of Final Fantasy X-2 ... yeah, I'm behind the times, but sometimes, you just don't need to rush to the stores and grab it off the shelf the first day it comes out. :)

Response: There's already something in the works for the XBox and PS2 ... based on the comic book version -- 3rd person shooter.

So, to avoid bad camera angles in future games, I would recommend portal visors that gives you a virtual display of your environment:

- Virtual display googles

I still want to play Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow but I have to wait till it comes out for the PS2 (unless I shell out $150.00 to get an XBox -- I'm not holding my breath). I'm looking into getting the $99.00 MSRP FFXI plus 40GB HD for the PS2.

Personally, I don't find sports games all that exciting -- I mean, I played NHL 2000/2001 and MLB 99/2000 (not into basketball) season-based game and after a while, I lose interest ... a few games shy of the playoffs.
Now, give me a good game of Halo or Dark Alliance II and I'm happy.
