2004.08.18 For "all the '3 Fans' of Morgan Webb" -- Laura Foy Quoted

It would appear that the folks on the show, G4TV.com, made real to the claim that Morgan Webb was going to be on the show -- there she was, sitting across from Tina Wood. If you missed this week's episode of G4TV.com -- check your local listings for re-broadcasting of the same episode in later days. You should having another chance or two to catch it, so set your (V|D)VRs.

G4TV.com: Laura FoyG4TV.com: Tina Wood

GLOG: Gorgeous Ladies Of Gaming was the episode name and wow, 'a show where three "babes" are willing to play with you.' This was the line said by Laura Foy ... oh how true it is.

Oh, for those that haven't noticed, Sarah Lane, has gotten her webcam back up (aka The SarahCam) and is current showing pictures of the new offices. Check it out -- it's on the top left corner of this site's main webpage. You don't have to refresh the page to get new images, the image (only the image) refreshes every 15 seconds.

Goodnight everybody!

Goodnight, Everyone!

Yeah, I was able to catch the episode of g4tv.com last night. I don't know about you guys, but Morgan didn't seem to fit in too well with Laura and Tina imo. She didn't seem to be able to put in as much input as she wanted to during the discussions and when she did her gaming knowledge destroyed that of Laura and Tina combined. In my opinion, g4tv.com fell apart after Scot Rubin left, and according to Kevin Perierierieriera, whom I've talked to before, said that they're just testing the waters with several hosts and will find a permenant host in the near future. Anyways, glad to see Morgan in some fresh new episodes of shows, getting sick and tired of watching re-runs. Anyone have any clue when the new episodes of X-Play, Unscrewed, and TSS air?

P.S. The fact that Morgan is a hardcore PC gamer, she talked about playing Doom III and Ut2k4, is awesome; I'd like to play her in ut2k4 online :-(

As far as I know the new shows will be airing from the new sets the second week in September.

I'll agree w/ you Morgan didn't seem to fit in too well and did you see how she reacted when that guy called in on behalf of her fans... honestly if she reacted like that to me if I ever get the chance to meet her I'll be crushed. But it makes me wonder... do we really make her feel that uncomfortable?

I've long suspected that Morgan is a lesbian. Take that negatively if you will, but that's the impression I always got. Lesbians are hot though, so its all good. If I'm right it's one hell of a waste though.

The style of g4 and techtv just seem way too different to be combined. The writting in the G4 shows just seems more... fake. Maybe im just used to techtv, i dont know.

I totally agree with you Demosthenes. G4 is definitly a network that tries to come off as "hip and cool" while TechTv tries to come off as a trustworthy educational/informative network and suceeds at doing so. When I heard of this merger I knew it would be a disaster, and in my opinion, it was. While I used to, and still do, tune in to G4 shows such as Pulse and Judgement Day, there just doesn't seem to be much that G4 is offering in this merger; plus the fact that they cancelled Call For Help and kept rubbish shows such as Future Fighting Machines and Invent This (no offense). Way to go comcast, you guys suck!

"Call for Help" is available for those who have G4TechTV in Canada.

Just a small FYI. :)

In regard to bharlan's comment about how she reacts to her male fan base (even if it's just asking about what kind of games she likes to play), I don't understand why she would be so uncomfortable towards all her male fans like that...I mean, some of us believe there's a whole lot more to Morgan than just a nice body, and not all of us just fixate on her physical attributes all the time. I would like to see her become even more famous than she already is (she'd make a great movie actress IMO), but I don't know how she would handle that given that her fan base would likely grow that way. Nevertheless, as I mentioned in one thread on the G4TechTV boards regarding Morgan's attitude towards her fans, obsessed fans do come with the territory of being a young attractive unmarried female celebrity; The position Morgan is in isn't really that much different from that of, say, Hilary Duff or Keira Knightley...

Agreeing with everyone that said that the group didn't mesh that well. Sure it was nice to see 3 gaming girls all on one show, but the chemistry was off. Tina and Laura are in sync with one another as is the combination of Adam and Morgan. When Scot was still on the show, he went well with the girls because of their time together. I didn't see the episode where Adam was with Tina and Laura so I don't know how that came off as.
I still miss seeing just purely TechTV on its own. Since the merger, I barely catch anything else on the channel now except for X-Play. I'd much prefer watching TechTV show reruns than G4 show reruns on a daily basis and that's what I did when they were still separate.
About Morgan's reaction to her male fans...I'd feel crushed if she reacted like that to me if I ever met her, but knowing how some "fans" turn out to be more creepy than they should be, I don't blame her. I did cheer when the guy phoned in from Sugar Land, TX. Sugar Land represent!!!

"she'd make a great movie actress IMO"

Based off what exactly? I mean come on, I like morgan as much as the next man but from the few "dramatic" skits we have seen it does not seem that she has a penchant for the craft. But then again, very few of the young hollywood types do so whatever.
