2004.06.08 Go! Speed Racer, Go!
Despite the lack of a better than average rating, I have to say that the graphics on the games are getting much better (like no, duh!). I know, but hear me out. Halo 2 and Half-Life 2 are great games ... when they come out ... and let's not forget to mention Doom 3, but look at Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps, the detail on the vehicles, on the action... are very life-like, not animated or cartoonish.
We've come a long way since Donkey Kong, Pac-Man and Xenophobe.

I'm still waiting for the next generation of Resident Evil where you are IN the virtual world. Resident Evil 4's main selling point is that the zombies are no longer walking idiots, they will eventually get to you if you stand still long enough.

AW crap i missed last nights episode. My first part of my exams are over and i finally got to sit and play Final Fantasy X. For us when you play these games you turn into a zombie, all day all night. WRT to graphics, yes Doom 3 looks great. Have you see the visuals for THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK for the XBOX? I think this type of mapping they use on games now will start to become popular, like cell shading was.

the e3 deomonstration just came out yesturday i got it in super high quality and it blew me away
Yesterday's was a good episode. Yoshi's racing mod was awesome. I'd play more racing games if I had that even though I suck at racing games.
No pictures of Morgan's feet? I was wondering if you were going to get those shots when she was driving and put them up or not, but I can't complain about the upclose face shots. That's more important than just her feet. If there was a seat next to her, I call shotgun. I call shotgun anyways, seat or no seat.
Donkey Kong was never meant to look photo realistic. Why can't games still have a cartoony style and not be made fun of for it?
