Yeah I get G4, channel 149 for me, and let me tell you all something I have never seen such horrible, living with mother, closet gamers that hack a game review worst than a butcher at a meat packers convention. (kinda weird but im so mad right now I can't think straight) Morgan Webb and Adam Sessler are by far the most knowledgeable,funny, and just plain cool gamers out there; they truly know gaming unlike G4.

do you have to have sattelite and what state do you live in i live in a small town in Cal and i hve cable and if it does come to x-play being on g4 i might have to watch it ( IF mORGAN And amda r miraculosuly back)

did you get in your mail a few weeks ago a small booklet from Nielsen television(you know the ratings board for shows) well you were supposed to write what you watch on t.v. in it and mail it
back to them. we all have to go to the Nielsen television website and complain about this to them; also HIGHWAY SHOULD SEND HIS ONLINE PETITION TO NIELSEN AS WELL. aND EXACTLY WHAT SMALL TOWN DO YOU LIVE IN SAMURAI X?

I don't have aol as my internet service provider. I have Roadrunner high speed online I'm sure you've heard the commercials for it.

I have G4, but I stopped watching it long ago.
So many reruns of the same thing daily.
The only shows I liked watching were Filter, Cinematech, and sometimes G4TV.com. That's about it.
Still so much to complain about this.
I'm actually curious as to how TechTV will address this. Like if they're going to actually acknowledge it on shows like Call For Help, The Screen Savers, or Tech Live. I really want to see what they do or if they say anything about it at all.

John, there's already a bunch of petitions popping up. Yours seems to have the most sigs, so I'd think about contacting the other petition authors to see about combining them. Because it's better for everyone to advertise one big petition than a bunch of authors advertising their own small petitions. I'm already seeing links to them all over and it's getting to be a pain in the ass to have to seek for my sig to be sure I already signed it.

We Should get off our butts and fight for what we want free independant Tech TV that we always love. Someone should buy them out again.

Yeah Gooch, if this deal falls through for her her doing Playboy would be the only good thing to come out of this merger. Anyway I think it's embarrassing for Morgan's and Adam's careers; getting bought out by a company that owns a crappy gaming t.v. network to people like Adam and Morgan who definitely know more about games.

You guys could do some actual reading before starting petitions and such. They are firing everyone and re-hiring most of the talent for the re-launch of G4. Why would they need all the people behind the scenes duplicating jobs? You don't need 2 accounting teams, you don't need 2 HR teams, 2 travel offices, etc. That was even said in the news story. But if you want to start a petition, go right ahead.

Oh yes very much unlike me,but now when X-play and Unscrewed comes on; my t.v. will from now on be OFF!!!! And yes Samurai X even I won't watch x-play anymore. I'm not going to support this merger,and by the sounds of it a lot of people besides me are not going to watch x-play anymore.

I can't stand G4. They don't know anything about games or gamers, and their shows are all crap. I don't say this out of spite. I say this from the bottom of my heart. I have never seen a network that cares less about their level of quality. Everything about G4, from it's actual content, to it's horrible presentation (Those backdrops from late 80s are really attractive, and those G4 cutscenes completely devoid of music are so cool)(Sarcasism)is poor. The one good thing that might come out of this merger is that those morons who host Judgement Day might be fired and completely replaced with X-Play with Adam and Morgan(You guys rock). Judgement Day doesn't come close to the indepth and smart reviews of X-Play. Even so, I fear that G4 will somehow find a way to destroy our beloved X-Play as well as the rest of TechTV. Not watching TTV shows will not help any, though. I avoid watching the G4 shows currently invading TTV. This is partly because of my anger, but mostly because, after watching each of their shows afew times, I truely have no desire to. (I miss RobotWars, and I'm not ashamed to say it) Anyone can see that this is only a pitiful attempt by G4 and Comcast to either save G4, or drag it's competitor down with it.

Is anyone else having trouble joining TTV's website? I used to be a member, and now for some reason I can't sign in or join again. They never send me a confirmation e-mail. This is not natural for TTV. Surely this can be traced back to the G4 merger, as it is the root of all our troubles.

I do see it as very probable that they will rehire the personalities of techtv, but even if they do, and ESPECIALLY if they don't, We must band together, not just by signature of a petition, but by honor, commitment and loyalty to the fine staff at techtv (especially Morgan and Adam, the two coolest people on tv). something really weird happened to my techtv channel a few days after the merge and i was wondering if someone could help me out. For some stipid reason, channel 19 (a.k.a my tecktv channel) was suddenly replaced by some absurdly stupid nasa show. techtv is no longer on my tv, yet the tvguide channel says its right there on ch19. Why is this happening!!!??? So ANGRY!! please respond.

I am a systems developer. For some reason I have grown to like Tech TV. I have found this show to be very relaxing.

With Xplay being one of the coolest shows on T.V., Morgan Webb being one of the smartest and THE PRETTIEST female talent on T.V. Network management has realy become a problem in America. Something is going to have to be done about their poor handeling of the syndicated programing. This is a very good indication of the decline of a once great nation. We all must organize and take back the initiative to return our nation to it former great and proud status.
