2003.10.09 X-Play (Tokyo Coverage Continues)
Our X-Play hosts for tonights episode continue their coverage of Tokyo's Gaming life -- generally the one best source of new game titles. It's a wonder we ever got Morgan to come back from Tokyo -- I mean, can we say "ANIME CENTRAL".
Well, here are some scenes taken while watching the episode air.
Morgan discovers that Japan is notorious for the pinball like game, Pachinko -- as she too becomes addicted to the phenomenon. Watch her facial expression as she can only think of is pachinko
Morgan "Croft"?
Looking for something you can't find in the US? Need customize your memory card for the PS2? You can buy specialize-detailed memory card carrying case. I mean we're talking about seriously decking out your memory card carrying case. Oh look, one for "Hello Kitty".
Morgan and Adam visits Polyphony Digital labs and find the key ingredient needed in the US when it comes to gaming development:
"Dedication to developing a fine product comes to paying rent for your cubicle"
Putting up curtains help block out the light when you sleep under your cubicle desk.
Gah-lee I mean, Morgan was having a LOT of fun. Why wouldn't she? All that anime...ahem, where was I? Oh yeah. :) I kinda feel bad for Adam however...all that, "Shojo" stuff. But WOW! Those Japanese are some ruthless employees man! Sleeping under their desks?? That sounds so...cool or tiring? I dunno.
